CANCELLATION POLICY
At Huatulco Dive Center extensive planning and thorough organization goes into our tours and courses, therefore, it is essential that HDC is notified at least 72 hours prior to your reservation in order to receive a full refund or change of dates.
• Cancellations within 72 hours of the date of your reservation, any deposit paid in advance will not be refunded. We will always attempt to reschedule your dives as best we can, but this is not always possible.
• EVERY RESERVATION will be fully paid on the first day of the service, and there is no refund for cancellations of dates within the reservation.
• Rescheduling your activities can be conducted without additional cost as best we can within the next 30 days for certified divers activities or within 365 days for PADI courses. We do not attempt to reschedule no shows unless an attempt to contact us prior to the morning of diving can be verified.
• The eLearning portion of any PADI course is NOT refundable. The fee varies for each course and is included in your deposit. If a course is cancelled more than 72 hours prior to the start of the practical portion, the amount corresponding to the deposit minus the eLearning fee will be refunded (the eLearning product remains yours, can be completed and used toward a practical PADI course at any PADI affiliated dive center within 365 days).
• Cancellation within 72 hours of your reservation due to medical concerns can be rescheduled without penalty or full refund issued (minus eLearning on courses) provided supporting medical documentation is presented to validate medical cancellation.
• Rain, cloudy weather, “choppy conditions” or poor visibility are not considered valid reasons for cancellation by the client as long as the harbor is open, and conditions are safe to perform activities. Our diving is conducted on the Pacific Ocean and clear visibility is not a guarantee.
• In the event that the harbor is closed, weather conditions are unsafe, or visibility is so poor that diving is considered unsafe we will attempt to reschedule as best we can and if this is not possible a full refund will be provided for dates that customers cannot dive.
• Prices subject to changes without previous notice, once a deposit and reservation is made, prices will not change.
• All prices include IVA tax.
